In search of a bar that would show the Saints games close to my South County residence I found HotShots. After spending an hour calling all of the "New Orleans" themed bars and restaurants and being told by each one that they do NOT show the Saints I just wanted to go anywhere that had the Sunday Package. I called ahead to beg them to show the game and they set me up in the far right corner as far away from the Ram fans as possible (cool with me, we're 5-0). This is the type of Hooters knock off place that makes you sad for the girls working there in their tight spandex booty shorts and cleavage popping referee shirts. It's not cute or fun, but they were all pretty and far too intelligent to be degraded. Hey, it's their choice to work there I guess. Ordered a Bud bottle. $3.25 on a Sunday morning in the town that freaking MAKES Budweiser?!!! You know 700 miles down the river Bud costs $2.00 almost everywhere, right? I got a "lb of wings" for $7.99. This is the first time outside the meat market or deli counter I bought my meat by the pound, but it seemed reasonable enough when they brought it out to me. Standard wings. They charge extra for blue cheese so I went without. After halftime I got a 9 in supreme "St. Louis" style pizza for $6.99. That just means provel, but the crust was also crazy thin. I can't lie, it wasn't at all bad. It might have been the five beers I drank, but I scarfed that baby down. The waitresses were really nice. My team won. I met a few good people. For these reasons I give 3 stars. They could do with an overhaul of the decor and maybe untint the windows a bit so it doesn't look like a strip club.

I always wondered why my fiancé refused to come to the south county location and demanded that if we are going to eat here we go to the Arnold location although it is further away, lesson learned. Came here with my fiancé for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Had the WORST server I have ever encountered! It wasn't even super busy there! Started off with my fiancé asked her if they had the Sam Summer Ale. She said no so he ordered a coke. He then noticed that the draft handle was indeed for the Sam Adams Summer Ale so when she came back I asked her what the Sam Seasonal was. She said she would have to ask. Sure enough it was the Summer Ale. My fiancé asked that she bring him one when our food is ready. Food comes. She forgot about his beer and did not bring the salad dressing for my salad. I had to flag her down and ask her for it. Rather than apologizing for forgetting, and going to get it immediately, she proceeds to make rounds to her other tables stopping to flirt with a table of two guys for a few minutes before getting it. Needless to say I will never return to the south county location. The Arnold location has always been wonderful though. It must be THAT particular location, not the whole company.

Went there last night for a final drink before last call. Watched a waitress argue with a bartender. Watched another waitress dry hump a customer. Actually had a waitress come over and tell us how drunk she was...this whole time i or my friends couldn't get a drink while 2 guys sat on stools behind the bar. I want a big fan before and certainly not now.

My son and I wanted hot wings while we watched tv. So I called up our local Hotshots to give them a try with some take out. We ordered two kinds of wings. (Traditional hot and Hot and Tangy) We also ordered a combo appetizer. The wings where cooked well, not dry but there was very little sauce on them. If they are going to serve wings like that they need to include extra sauce for dipping. The appetizer platter was par for bar food. The Hotshot tacos were the best. They did not include any dipping sauce for the toasted ravs or any salsa for the tacos and hot poppers. The sauces are mentioned on the menu. I'm sure if I ate my food there they would of included the dipping sauces. Also when I walked in to pick up the food I had to walk through and hang out in cigarette smoke. I thought places that serve food cannot have smoking in St. Louis County. There other menu items look good but after this experience and not wanting to put up with smoke, it may be awhile before I go back.

OK location with 6 pool tables, darts, tons of TVs, jukebox, etc. Not as open of a layout as other HotShots I've been to but ok. Haven't eaten or drank anything here yet so can't comment on that.

This place has really good hot wings! I like that the prices here are pretty good. Also, the waitresses have been really nice.

I pride myself on being a seasoned vet of the dive bar. I'm the product of parents who, every gathering, rehash the details of the time my dad almost cut a bartender with a broken bottle back when Rockin' Gators was still The Back Door because he couldn't take his beer with him after last call. This is a point of pride in my family; who can find the most run-down, hole in the wall place and make it their kingdom. I may have lost the Smith Family Dive Bar Challenge over Hotshots. I just couldn't stomach it. The grit, the grime, the thick cloud of smoke. It was too much. It's so dark and dated inside and everything looks so dirty, you just want to bathe in hand sanitizer when you're done. Spending fifteen minutes in this place gives me seasonal depression. Walking back out into the world after having a drink here is like going through the birth canal. Where did all of this LIGHT come from?? You got me beat, HotShots. I just can't dive THAT deep. I'm sorry, parents. You raised a quitter.

Hot Shots is your typically sports bar. TV's everywhere, a jukebox for music, plenty of pool tables and dart boards and cute waitresses. The South County location gets it's fair share of softball teams and bikers. I've come in jeans and a polo shirt and have felt overdressed. A couple of complaints during my last visit. An obnoxious patron was posted at the table by the front door and trying to get people to give her $5 as a cover charge. The staff knew about it but didn't kick her out or make her stop. Sketchy. The place seems dingy. I know it's a sports bar an all, but the chairs seemed soiled, the carpet is nasty. I'd hate to see the place fully lit.

It is what it is..not the worst bar I've been to. Food was great but our waitress was a bit stupid. Still tipped her well :) ...they also have buck hunter safari there schibby.

Wow this place was awful! I thought that it would be good eats considering I see them in tv all the time. The place wreaked of smoke, food was bland, music WAY too loud, no Blues tv audio, etc. Had planned on staying to watch the game there and left as soon as I was done eating! Suffice to say worst eating out experience i've ever had...not going back anytime soon!

Was recently visiting this location to see if they were as good as the Fenton location that i am normally at now. I arrived with the intention of throwing darts and was able to walk right up and get a board with ease. They ended up having actually a lot of darters throwing that night. I ended up meeting a lot of cool players close to where I lived. We ended up throwing in a mini tournament that the manager put together due to all the people throwing that night. I thought that was a pretty cool thing for the bar to do! They threw in money for the pot, and everyone stuck around. Our waitress was really cool also, she took care of us, and made sure that we got Bucket deals on our beers all night long which saved me lots of money!!! Not to mention our waitress looked amazing!! (Hope my girlfriend doesn't see this, lol) I ended up having a Woody burger to eat when I got hungry "the mafia" It had all kinds of cheese, pepperoni, and marinara, surprisingly it was awesome. Anyways I had a great time throwing darts and will come back to hang with my new friends that I met. I hope to get the same waitress the next time that I come back!!! oh Yeah I also won a free happy hour party when I was there. Plan on taking my office there for a happy hour coming soon.

DO NOT book an event at Hot Shots! I worked with the manager to arrange for a birthday party for my friends. I booked the date, chose the location for our tables, secured a reserved pool table and picked menu items. I even called to confirm all the arrangements a few days before the event. When I arrived at Hot Shots, there was a group of people sitting at my "reserved" tables. The manager on duty had no record of my party, my tables or my food order. My tables had been given to another party. The manager attempted to appease me by setting up a few tables near the front door with only enough chairs for half my guests. We were supposed to be able to watch the game on the big screen TV. Instead only a few of us could twist our necks to see a small TV mounted near the ceiling. Our server was sporadic at best. She was in charge of our "surprise" party and at least one other section. The experience was a disaster. My guests were crammed around a few pub tables and most of them had to stand up the entire time we were there. The manager is obviously inept and unable to take reservations.
